About Ben Adams Photography

Ben Adams Photography was founded in 2017, shortly after I moved from Oxford to Leeds and turned a lifelong passion into a full-time career. What began with photographing pets for the RSPCA soon grew into a multi-genre practice, capturing everything from family portraits and weddings to STEM projects and creative fashion shoots.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Photography from Leeds City College and am currently studying for an MA in Photography at Falmouth University. With over 10 years of experience, I bring both artistic vision and technical expertise to every project. My work has been trusted by the RSPCA, universities, ESERO, UKSEDS, and private clients across Yorkshire and the UK.

Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, I now specialise in four key areas:

  • Pet & Family Photography - celebrating the joy, personality, and bonds that make pets part of the family.
  • Weddings - blending documentary and artistic styles to tell the natural story of your day.
  • STEM Photography - documenting science, engineering, and space innovation for education, outreach, and industry.
  • Astrithia (Fashion/Editorial) - bold, creative fashion photography exploring style and identity.

Outside of photography, I'm a proud sci-fi and gaming enthusiast, drawing inspiration from imaginative storytelling, science, and technology. This curiosity fuels my work, especially in STEM and editorial projects where creativity and innovation meet.

My mission is simple: to create images that are not only visually striking but deeply meaningful — capturing genuine connections, powerful moments, and the stories that matter most.
